Hey friends, welcome back. It has been awhile since I have wrote a blog post. Today is going to be all about my favorite ways how I practice self care.
As a mother of three and my youngest who was born medically dependent, even thought he's doing so much better. something I I have learned along the way is that to sustain a healthy balance and great mental health for me is to practice self care. Self care are things that are important to me and they are ways that I relax and unwind.
If I am not taking care of myself and doing things for me I know that it would be a lot harder to take care of my family. I have realized that I am not just the title of mom, or wife. I am still Stephanie even though I am a mom and wife, and I have found that self care works for me and nourishes my mind and body.
I think that by finding something to do that you love and enjoy is self care no matter what it is. I know that everyones self care will be different but I wanted to share some of my most favorite ways I practice self care. These are in no particular order just all the things I love to do that help me and gives me relaxation.
- Read a book
- Sit outside
- Planner stuff
- Take a bath
- Work on recipes
- Have a cup of tea or coffee
